Other times, its something simpler, easier to understand, and far closer to home. "Sometimes magic is all beautiful sparkles and breathtaking views. I just got so caught up in the lush language and fun metaphors that I couldn't put it down! Here's just one example: I know I'm gushing, but this is honestly how I felt while reading the book. I found myself constantly thinking, "How does she come up with this stuff?" It's like she's a creative genius. She told Bettony's story with such wit and yet with incredibly beautiful language. After reading it, I felt compelled to immediately go out and find everything else that Danyelle Leafty has ever written because I was enraptured by her whimsical and flowing writing style. I honestly cannot begin to tell you how in love I was with this book. This review and many others can be found on my blog - Best Kids' Reads. I would really recommend this book to all them who loves fairy tales and fun! It's like drifting through space full of stars. With this book I feel like I was travelling throughout fairy land and met all the fairy tales. Accidentally, because of Bettony's desire, Dersire turned into a toad. The characters were sooooo hilarious I must say! They served justice.īettony was being a bad girl because she was envious and she wants to be pretty just like her stepsister Dersire. Nonetheless, I continued on Saturday night near Sunday dawn and finished it on Sunday morning where rain was falling. But then, I continued and found out that I want to finish this right away but sadly, I was busy last Saturday so unfortunately, I can't read it nonstop. Well, at first, I had trouble coping up with the writing because I thought that it was so short for some sentences but I forgot that it's for ages under my age. I feel so young and I thought I was still a kid who wants fairy tales, but I do actually until now.

With this book, written by Danyelle, I thought my childhood came running back towards me.

I have been starting reading this book last week Friday and I ended on a Sunday. But anyway, here's my review for the book. Blogger has been such a bad boy these days. I am so sorry if this post was posted late.
